Tonight kicks off the week of fashion and beauty with Shopping Night Out at all of our area’s local boutiques.  I’m about to start getting ready to hit up a couple of my favorites!

Studio 8 Salon is honored to be styling hair for Lola and Savoire Faire on Friday night, and Chic, Riffraff and Maude Saturday night!  I’ll be brainstorming and getting creative all week in preparation!

I’m about to make the mad dash of final Christmas shopping, but wanted to share with you some cute gift ideas from my Fayetteville favorite, Maude Boutique.

Aztec Bag, $59: The trendy print and great neutral colors on this bag allow it to be carried with any outfit. Use the long-chain for day-to-day or detach the chain for a cute clutch and a night on the town.

Happy Gift Giving!!!

Last night we celebrated with my beautiful Studio 8 co-stylists at Mermaids in Fayetteville!  It was such a fun evening with amazing food (must try the Ahi Tuna Tower, YUM).  I definitely took advantage of the chance to get dressed up and went even a little farther with a makeover at my fav MAC counter with Bo!  If you’ve never gone to get a makeover or even your eyes done, its such a treat and a creative way to update your look and makeup bag.

Bo used a lovely palette of teal and olive.. Sumptuous Olive and Plumage are the 2 I purchased :)

We used a lip shade I already own, Creme D’Nude, that Bo informed me is the shade Kim Kardashian wears! He paired the lip liner she also uses, Stripdown, to complete the look.

The cold rainy weather ushered in my first opportunity to pull out the vintage fur I purchased from a friend this summer!

A shellac french mani from Karen at Revive Day Spa and my Coco Chanel Mademoiselle completed the look.

And my best accessory of the night… My handsome date!

I’m loving my new white iPhone 4 and finally found a great, yet still stylish, cover!

I didn’t want a typical boring case! The Jet Set Collection is the first line of Tech Candy iPhone 4 and iPad cases, and was inspired by architectural details around the world. It features four distinct patterns–one Asian, one Spanish, another decidedly French, and the last one oh-so New York hip.  I went with the French damask pattern complete with the gray and orange exchangeable inner wraps.
