My turn to switch things up this fall.. I started with some new bangs from Heather on Friday! When I say bangs, I’m talkin full commitment fringe here.
Then took it another step further on Saturday and ombre colored my hair after work!

The best ombré hair color takes time. We have been doing ombre color on Heather for awhile now and I love the way the colors melt and blend in her hair. Be patient with your hair (the cuticle can only do so much in one appt), stylist and the color process :)

Oh, how I love ombré color! It’s natural, sexy, and so simple to maintain once the desired levels and tones are established. We’ve been doing ombré color on Amanda for over a year now, and just now playing with going darker toward her natural base. She wears it beautifully!
Hi friends! I have a couple amazing makeovers using So.Cap. Hair Extensions today..
The Socap single strand bonded extensions are not only for the girl who wants long hair, but also for:
- adding color/highlight/dimension
- adding fullness
- adding texture, hold and manageability to fine hair
- blending layers or an undesired cut
- adding length/fullness around the face, where the hair grows slowest.
First client is Lauren, who came in wanting to add length to her shoulder length bob. Using 2-1/2 bundles, we added about 3-4” of length!
Next we have Jennifer, who came in looking to get the ombre color effect and add some length and fullness to her hair. We did one bundle of extensions and incorporated some lighter strands for the ombre effect to achieve fullness, longer length around the face, and about an additional inch of length in the back.

The uncharacteristically warm weather has everyone coming in the salon to lighten up! Lacy came in today wanting to start the transition from a dark ombre back to her customary blonde shade. She was very realistic on the lightening process knowing her first highlight would not get her all the way blonde, but take her to a lighter ombre. I really love the results we got today!
Pro tip: highlighting can be harsh on your locks.. invest in a heat protectant spray (Bumble & Bumble Tonic or Davines Melu Shield), moisturizing conditioner (Bumble & Bumble Super Rich or Davines Momo) and some nourishing oil (Moroccan Oil). All available at Studio 8.
Taking your #blonde hair #ombre is a great transition if you are interested in going darker without the full blown commitment!

Gorgeous dark brown ombré on Jessica! We’ve been melting this color for a few months and love the way it is coming together.
Ombré color styled out with BB Tonic Spray and Davines Invisible Styling Cream.. 1” curling iron waves and finished with Davines Crystal Fixative Hairspray.
Darker shade of ombré. Today Wendy came in wanting to deepen her ombré for more contrast. Loving the result.
