Shop online or in store this Friday at @ShopRiffraff, 15% of all sales go to support the Preslee Turner College Fund. Warms my heart to see our community and state pull together to support the Turner family after their tragic loss. Like many others, my husband and I are at a loss for words to see such an admirable young father and husband leave us so early. We are trusting in The Lord and will continue to pray for their family.

Talk about commitment! Kirsten (entrepreneur extraordinaire AKA Riffraff) is flying to Ecuador this weekend to visit her brave, awesome man serving in the Peace Corps! As a safety measure, he warned her blonde hair would cause a lot of attention to the natives who’ve never seen a gorgeous blonde.. So, what’s a girl to do? Go darker!

I must admit I was apprehensive at first bc we had gotten her to a lovely shade of blonde, but I can’t tell you how happy I am we did it and how fabulous it looks on her!! I went with Wella’s Color Touch for a semipermanent finish that will fade on tone in the event she misses her blonde locks. We both have a feeling she will stay this flattering “bronde” shade for awhile ;). Safe travels, Kirsten!!!
