Hair extensions are not just for long hair. Yesterday we placed a few lighter strands in Jennifer’s hair to accentuate the asymmetrical point and add a dimensional highlight! Took less than an hour and under $50 for this fun makeover.
Following my passion for the beauty industry, I am a hair stylist at Studio 8 in Fayetteville, AR. Hi friends! I have a couple amazing makeovers using So.Cap. Hair Extensions today..
The Socap single strand bonded extensions are not only for the girl who wants long hair, but also for:
- adding color/highlight/dimension
- adding fullness
- adding texture, hold and manageability to fine hair
- blending layers or an undesired cut
- adding length/fullness around the face, where the hair grows slowest.
First client is Lauren, who came in wanting to add length to her shoulder length bob. Using 2-1/2 bundles, we added about 3-4” of length!
Next we have Jennifer, who came in looking to get the ombre color effect and add some length and fullness to her hair. We did one bundle of extensions and incorporated some lighter strands for the ombre effect to achieve fullness, longer length around the face, and about an additional inch of length in the back.

I’ve just wrapped up another fun week full of hair extensions and will be sharing with you some of the before/after photos of the transformations!

Extension Day 5: My lovely Mother, Karen! A during photo/after..
Client Wants: experiment with longer, full hair!
SoCap Solution: 100 strands of hair in 4 different shades of blonde.

Extension Day 4: One of my dear friends, Kirsten!
Client Wants: I should be ashamed for not taking a before pic, but Kirsten’s hair was just barely past her shoulders and she was ready for some long layers locks!
SoCap Solution: 100 strands (2 bundles) of SoCap real human hair in a variety of 4 shades of blonde to give Kirsten approx 4-5” on length and extreme fullness. What a beauty!
Extension Day 3: fellow beautiful hairstylist, Corinn!
Client Wants: Corinn has long hair that doesn’t seem to get any longer and wanted more length/fullness.. AKA: Kardashian Hair ;). She also wanted some subtle highlighting around her face without the damage of lightening her own hair.
SoCap Solution: I bonded 100 strands (2 bundles) to gain the desired fullness and approx 4” in length. Due to SoCap’s extensive color selection, I ordered several pieces in lighter caramel shades to focus around the face for the highlights.
Extensions: Day 2. Here is the gorgeous Lorelei, owner and eyebrow master at the Brow Bar in Fort Smith.. (P.S. if you live in the area, this is the place for your brows, aesthetic, and makeup needs).
Client Wants: Lorelei already has long hair, but desires more fullness especially around her face.
SoCap Solution: We bonded 65 SoCap strands primarily focusing on the sides to add fullness and length in front. These will last 4-5 months!
