Day 15/21: High Ponytail Today was a very busy day in the salon so I kept it simple with a high ponytail! Just moisturized my ends with some Moroccan Oil and used a boar bristle brush to pull up. I wrapped a strand of hair around to hide the ponytail holder and secured it with a hair pin.

Day 9/21: Not Just a Top Knot… Today I attempted to combine the top knot and boho braid! I pulled the front section of my hair in a pony on top of my head and secured with an elastic. Then, with my head flipped over, I reverse French braided up the back of my head to meet the high ponytail. I combined them and twisted it into a top knot! The upside down braiding was a little challenging, but I love the way the reverse braid gives texture.

Day 8/21: The Boho Braid

Today I’m trying out a fun braided pony I saw on Pinterest called the Boho Braid….

I pretty much followed the tutorial on the Beauty Department website.. keeping my natural part and doing the reverse french braid.  This style took a little longer, but I love the fun, undone look!

Day 7/21 of my 21 Day Hair Styling Challenge: Top Knot Oh, how I love the top knot! I just flip my head over and gather into an imperfect pony tail on the top of my head with an elastic. Then wrap the pony into a messy bun pinning along with bobby pins. Fun, fast, EASY cute!

Another fun wedding do from a summer wedding.. After teasing the crown and leaving the natural part and sides (in front of the ears) out, I made a low bun. Then grabbed sections (alternating sides) from the hair on the side twisting them back around the bun and securing with hair pins.
